Every platform, checked against Steam

| PlayStation 5 / PS4 | No | No version announced |
| Xbox Series X|S / Xbox One | No | No version announced |
| Nintendo Switch | No | No version announced |
| iPhone / Android | No | No mobile version |
| Mac | No | Steam lists Windows only |
| Linux | No | No native version |
| Steam Deck | Unknown | Not reviewed by Valve yet |
The Steam store page for Hood Warfare 2 lists Windows as its only platform. The first game, Hood Warfare (2023), has also stayed Windows only on Steam for more than three years.
Will Hood Warfare 2 come to PS5 or Xbox?
Trapstar Games has not announced a console version. The developer posted three Steam announcements since October 4, 2026: the release date, the launch and patch 1.0.10. None mentions consoles. Players keep asking for a PS5 version, and press coverage has noted those requests, but a request is not a plan.
Console releases also need agreements with Sony or Microsoft, certification and usually a separate anti-cheat setup, which takes time for any studio. We will update this page if Trapstar Games announces a console version.
Crossplay and cross platform
Because every player is on the same Windows version through Steam, there is no crossplay question to answer: everyone plays together. There is no cross-platform progression because there is only one platform.
Controller support
Steam lists Hood Warfare 2 with full controller support, so an Xbox or PlayStation controller plugged into your PC works. That is the closest you can get to playing it like a console game today.
Steam Deck, Mac and Linux
Valve has not rated Hood Warfare 2 for Steam Deck yet. The store page lists kernel-level anti-cheat, and anti-cheat of that kind often refuses to run under Proton, the compatibility layer Steam Deck and Linux use. Treat Steam Deck as unconfirmed until Valve reviews it or players confirm it works after patch 1.0.10.
On a Mac there is no native version. Running Windows in a virtual machine is the usual workaround for PC games, but kernel-level anti-cheat commonly blocks virtual machines too. We have not tested either route.
Mobile
There is no Hood Warfare 2 app for iPhone or Android. Trapstar Games publishes Hood Warfare 2 only on Steam. Roblox games with similar names, such as Hood Wars, are different games by different creators.
