Every mode can be played online against other players or offline against bots, on any of the four maps.
Turf War
Take and hold areas of the map to score. Like Domination, it rewards moving as a team and holding ground rather than chasing kills.
GangBang (team deathmatch)
Two teams, one goal: the team with the most kills wins. This is Hood Warfare 2's version of Team Deathmatch and the easiest mode to start with.
Chaos (free-for-all)
No teams. Every player for themselves, the Free-for-All of Hood Warfare 2.
Hit A Lick (capture the bag)
Steal the enemy team's bag and bring it back to your base, while stopping them from taking yours. It plays like Capture the Flag.
Destroy The Block (search and destroy)
One team plants a bomb, the other defends or defuses it, and you only get one life per round. This is the most tactical mode, closest to Search and Destroy.
Chain Snatch (kill confirmed)
Enemies drop chains when they die and you collect them for points, so a kill only counts once you grab the chain. You can also pick up your teammates' chains before the other gang gets them. It is Hood Warfare 2's Kill Confirmed.
Which mode should you play first?
Start with GangBang to learn the maps and guns, move to Turf War once you know the spawns, and save Destroy The Block for when you can play with friends who talk on voice chat.
